Benson and his brother, Mason, were surrendered to
Moore Humane Society by a woman who found them
under her trailer. Their coats were so severely matted
and infested with fleas that we had no choice but to
shave them. After vaccinating, de-worming, and
neutering both dogs, we tested them for heartworms.
To our dismay, Mason tested positive for heartworms
and is currently undergoing a much-needed, as well as
expensive, heartworm treatment to rid him of the deadly
heartworms.
Both dogs are extremely sweet natured and full of life.
