| Name: Waylon Sex: Neutered male Breed: Hound mix Coloring: Black with white accents Weight: about 60 pounds Age: Adult Waylon is handsome black-and-white hound mix who came to Moore Humane Society as a puppy in August 2004, along with his brother Willie. Both dogs were quite timid, but staff here at MHS has worked hard to socialize them and expose them to new situations. Waylon will never be a dog who eagerly greets visitors at the front door, but he probably won’t chase the mailman either! He’d probably do best in a small, quiet family with older children (or no children at all). Waylon will need some time to adjust to his new surroundings, so he’s looking for a family who will be patient as he gets to know and trust you. In return, we think he’ll make a devoted companion who will thrive on your love and attention. Waylon’s brother Willie found a forever home in fall 2009.
