I graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in health education. I recently retired from a 35 year career in health care, the majority working for a national healthcare alliance who’s purpose is to ensure the success of not-for-profit health care. My role was to serve as a trusted advisor working closely with hospital executives to identify opportunities to drive savings and improve clinical outcomes. Prior to that, I led the supply chain management operations for a multi-hospital system in Northeast Ohio.
I have been an animal lover my entire life and started volunteering at Moore Humane three years ago so that I could make a difference for animals less fortunate than my own. As a result, some of the animals that were less fortunate than my own have become my own! Our Moore Humane Alumni are Summer, Tulsa, Tater, and Abu, who is now Boo. They live happily with Kai, Noah, and Buda who all have their own stories to tell. It’s an honor to serve Moore Humane, and now that I’m retired, I am able to devote even more time and effort to this important cause.
