Shelter Volunteer
The shelter is always in need of volunteers to assist in cleaning the shelter and feeding the animals. Socializing the shelter
dogs and cats is another important volunteer job. Our animals need to handled and loved as they await their future homes.

You may also assist in the bathing of our dogs. You do not need to be a professional dog groomer to help!

Cat lovers are always welcome to cuddle, hold and brush our cats, as well as helping our staff keep the cat rooms clean.

As dogs often need one-on-one quiet time, away from the noise and confusion of the kennels, volunteers are also invited to
take our dogs to off-site adoption events and Doggie Day Trips to the park.

Foster Home Care
Pets requiring special attention need special people to care for them in their homes until ready for adoption. We always
have orphaned kittens, mother cats with kittens and shy dogs that need a loving foster home. Prospective foster parents
must complete a
foster home application.

Special Events Volunteer
Share your time and talent to help make one of Moore Humane Society's events a success!

Office Volunteer
Volunteering in the front lobby encompasses a variety of duties including answering phones, helping with paperwork, data
entry, and assisting with the adoption process.

The Feral Cat Program
Help us trap, transport and release (TNR). This is the most humane and effective for reducing feral cat populations.
